When a Business Deal Falls Through;

The Lord sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and He exalts. He will guard the feet of His saints, but the wicked will be silenced in darkness. It is not by strength that one prevails. {1 Samuel 2:7,9.}

At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soli, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant. [Job 14: 7-9].

But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish. {Psalm 9:18}.

I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw by affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. {Psalm 31:7,24}.

Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for for I will yet praise Him, My Savior and my God. {Psalm 3:5}.

But as for me , I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. {Psalm 71:14}.

I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds. Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God of Israel? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. {Psalm 77:12-14}.

The blessings of the LORD brings wealth, and He adds no trouble to it. {Proverbs 10:22}. There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. {Proverbs 23:18}.

If you falter in times of trouble, how small is your strength! {Proverbs 24:10}. Finally, be strong in the LORD and in His mighty power. {Ephesians 6:10}.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. {Philippians 4:12,13}.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. {Hebrews 4:16}.

If any of you lacks wisdom, he should as the God of Israel, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. {James 1:5}.
