Obedience to the 10-commandments.
“THE LOVE FOR THE MOST HIGH GOD OF ISRAEL.”
The apostle John wrote, “This is love for {Ahayah ashar Ahayah}, I Am that I Am” to obey His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome” (1 John 5:3). Many have rightly said that it is impossible for a man who loves God to say. “No Lord,” because if Christ is truly our Lord, we cannot refuse Him.
Obedience is submission to the instructions of an authority. Our obedience to Christ commands is proof to The Most High and to everyone watching us that Christ indeed is Lord of our lives. The act of baptism for a new Christian is the first act of obedience in response to the commands of Jesus Christ.
