“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” {Jeremiah 29:11}
YOUR LIFE IS THE WEIGHT OF YOUR WORDS….
Trouble! Throughout the Bible, God often used trouble to shape, grow, and discipline His people. Today, most of us would readily admit we are shaped by our experiences. God has provided us that characteristic so he can shape us. Each life experience, enjoyable or not, can remind us of our dependence on God. He is the source of every good thing, as well as the one who strengthens, guides, and helps us in times of trouble. God is certainly able to shape a man through blessings. The life of Job was one of many blessings that nevertheless grew a character in him that continued to trust God, even when tragedy left him with nothing else. More often, however, men learn only when they are in trouble that God alone is able to handle all they face. In times of serious crisis men realize their dependence on God's love. Even so, God can use every day and every circumstance to teach and deliver us. As God does, he shape us to make us more useful to Himself.
